For ping pong, we advocate an absolute minimum of four toes extra space on both end of the table, and three toes of house on the sides. We advocate at the very least 3 additional ft of house on either end of the table for the players’ maneuverability. As a general rule for pool desk measurement, you need to make sure that you go away no less than five toes of open house around the perimeter of your table in the room it is intended for.
